Bel Air Finishing provides a complete lineup of equipment for precision edge preparation and coating polishing—including drag finishers, robotic systems, and slurry honing cabinets. These solutions are engineered for processing inserts, end mills, taps, reamers, and drills with exceptional speed, consistency, and accuracy—whether coated or uncoated, carbide or HSS.
Our FinishMaster™ Drag Finishers range from compact 2-head models to high-capacity 6-head systems, offering scalable solutions for everything from prototyping to high-volume production. These systems feature Bel Air’s Chamber-Lift™ technology, which simplifies maintenance and enhances durability by eliminating complex shafts and bearings. The AutoHone™ Robotic Honing & Polishing Machine uses reverse drag finishing (also known as stream finishing) with a six-axis robotic arm to deliver precise, repeatable edge prep—up to 50–70x faster than standard drag finishers.
For chemical-free, dust-free finishing, the FM-WJ Series Slurry Honing Cabinets use a closed-loop wet blasting process ideal for polishing, descaling, and degreasing a wide variety of materials. Optional automation features such as turntables and tumble baskets further expands its capabilities.
