Objective
Bel Air Finishing was tasked with creating a finishing process to scuff sealers and prepare CNC-machined wooden rifle stocks for a consistent, high-quality final coat. The goal was to achieve an even, smooth surface that enhances the durability and aesthetics of the finish.

Solution
To meet the customer’s specifications, Bel Air Finishing recommended a dry polishing media formulated for wood components. This media, used with the Horizontal Drag Finisher or Centrifugal Barrel Finisher, effectively scuffs the sealer layer while preserving the natural contours of the rifle stock, minimizing manual touch-ups and enhancing production efficiency.
