This component has an interesting story; this is the slide for a model 1911 pistol. In 2010 the customer was about introduce their first 1911 model. Because Bel Air had worked on improving many of the finishing processes for the customer’s manufacturing, we were invited to take part in the development of the manufacturing processes for the new model and all of its components.
