Bel Air Finishing was tasked with developing an automated deburring and surface preparation process for CNC-machined aluminum firearm rails. The goal was to eliminate manual deburring, achieve a smooth, uniform finish, and ensure the rails were properly prepared for coating applications.

Bel Air Finishing partnered with Pneu-Dart to automate the deburring and surface preparation of aluminum firearm rails using a High-Energy Centrifugal Disc Finisher. This advanced finishing system efficiently removes burrs, refines surface uniformity, and optimizes the aluminum for subsequent coating applications, eliminating the need for manual processing. The automated solution ensured repeatable, high-quality results while significantly improving production efficiency and reducing labor costs.
