Bel Air Finishing was tasked with deburring CRS steel electronic packages to replace the customer’s chemical deburring process. The goal was to implement a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution while maintaining the high-quality finish required for electronic components.

To meet the customer’s requirements, Bel Air Finishing recommended the Centrifugal Barrel Finisher/Harperizer. This advanced system provides efficient deburring and wet grinding capabilities, effectively removing burrs and sharp edges from CRS steel electronic packages.

The new process eliminated the need for chemical deburring, offering an eco-friendly alternative that improved efficiency and reduced processing time. By transitioning to the Centrifugal Barrel Finisher/Harperizer, the customer achieved a consistent, high-quality surface finish suitable for electronic applications, while also streamlining their production workflow.
