Solution
To address the customer’s requirements, Bel Air Finishing recommended a combination of high-efficiency equipment, including the Roll Burnisher, Magnetic Pin Finisher, and Centrifugal Disc Finisher. Each system was tested and refined to achieve precise surface preparation for the brass C3600 screw machine bodies.
The Roll Burnisher provided efficient edge rounding and smoothing, while the Magnetic Pin Finisher delivered exceptional polishing in intricate areas. For high-energy finishing, the Centrifugal Disc Finisher was employed to achieve a uniform, ultra-polished surface. This integrated approach ensured reliable, repeatable results, enabling the customer to enhance plating quality and streamline production processes.

In this video short, see how Bel Air Finishing uses our one-of-a-kind roll burnishing machine and spin dryer to achieve an ultra-polished finish for the brass screw machine bodies. While the roll burnishing process is the star, it is part of a comprehensive surface preparation that includes additional finishing steps.
