| Equipment Type | High-Energy Centrifugal Disc Finisher |
Solution
To streamline production and improve efficiency, Bel Air Finishing recommended integrating the High-Energy Centrifugal Disc Finisher directly into the customer’s CNC manufacturing cells. This advanced finishing solution effectively removed machine lines, polished the surface, and delivered consistent, high-quality results.
By transitioning to cellular processing, the customer significantly reduced lead times—from several weeks to just three days—and minimized handling by eliminating the need to move parts across the manufacturing floor. Smaller batch sizes also lowered scrap rates during testing, as fewer parts needed to be discarded in case of failure. This integrated approach enhanced production efficiency, reduced waste, and ensured superior finishing for automotive key blanks.
