Wet Blasting (Slurry / Vapor Blasting)

Best for: Cleaning, cosmetic finishing, and surface smoothing.

  • Uses a water + media slurry to cushion impact
  • Produces smooth, refined, non-abrasive finishes
  • Generates minimal heat — ideal for thin-walled or 3D-printed parts
  • Excellent for medical, aerospace, electronics, and additive manufacturing

Use wet blasting when you need:
Oxide removal, reduced roughness, cosmetic finishing, or gentle cleaning

Dry Blasting (Abrasive / Sandblasting)

Best for: Aggressive material removal and coating preparation.

  • Uses dry media propelled by air for strong cutting action
  • Produces a rougher, textured surface
  • Can generate heat and dust — may require dust collection
  • Common for castings, tooling components, and restoration work

Use dry blasting when you need:
Scale removal, rust removal, or a textured surface profile for coating adhesion.

Shot Peening / Shot Blasting

Best for: Surface strengthening and fatigue resistance.

  • Uses rounded shot to gently compress the surface
