At Bel Air Finishing, we’re not just helping manufacturers—we’re helping build the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
This summer, we welcomed Dolson and Nate, our newest interns, to the Bel Air Finishing Lab. Both will be high school seniors this fall and joined us to explore what manufacturing is all about. With guidance from their mentor Jim—known to them as “Mr. Buffy”—they’ve been learning hands-on what it takes to work in a real-world manufacturing environment.
For us, it’s about more than just passing on skills. It’s about strengthening the manufacturing community from the ground up. By giving young people early exposure to this field, we’re helping spark curiosity, build confidence, and create pathways to meaningful careers.
We believe the future of U.S. manufacturing depends on sharing what we know—and making space for the next generation to learn and grow.
