Their existing process involved outsourcing the caps for chemical stripping, only to clean them again in-house once they were returned—adding time, cost, and inconsistency.
Bel Air developed a smarter, streamlined solution by replacing this two-step workflow with a single in-house vibratory finishing process. This new method allows Collins’ technicians to remove coatings and clean the parts simultaneously, using a vibratory tub system paired with a compound spin drying process—a tightly controlled workflow that delivers consistent, repeatable results.
