After more than 16 years of service in a production environment, the machine recently returned to Bel Air for a full refurbishment—and today it’s back in operation, performing exactly as it did on day one.

Rather than replace a perfectly good system, the customer chose to refurbish their existing Bel Air machine. The objective was straightforward: restore full functionality, maintain original system continuity, and extend the operational life of equipment that had already proven its value.

Despite years of continuous service, the machine’s core frame, drive system, and mechanical components remained in outstanding condition. And although certain electronics from 2008 are now obsolete, Bel Air was able to source refurbished, compatible components to keep the system operating within its original design—without the need for a costly full replacement or redesign.

Bel Air replaced standard wear items, refreshed key control components, and completed a full inspection to return the system to like-new operating performance.
