Solution
Bel Air Finishing demonstrated various post-processing techniques on stainless steel promotional bottle openers using a high-energy Centrifugal Disc Finisher. This solution efficiently removed surface roughness and improved uniformity on 17-4 stainless steel DMLS parts, achieving Ra values optimized for both functional performance and cosmetic appearance.
Through controlled finishing cycles, Bel Air showcased how different finish grades—ranging from polished and ultra-smooth to subtly textured—could be tailored to meet application needs. Our process evaluation, supported by 3D metrology reports, provided the customer with data-driven insights for future production optimization.
